Amazon have been spying on me via my Google searches again! Got this spam in my inbox this morning. I wouldn’t mind, but I’m slightly incensed by the inference that I’m only interested in Thomas The Tank Engine or wooden trainsets! Argh!
LMS 4P
I know I’ve got quite a few engines now, but I couldn’t resist this LMSĀ 2-6-4 Class 4P side tank. I have drawn the line now though – this will be my last loco purchase.

Model Railway Exhibition
Today I went to the model railway exhibition run by the Mid Essex Model Railway Club in Shenfield. There were plenty of layouts to see, but it was quite busy so I didn’t get to take any pictures. However, there were also a few dealers’ stands. I managed to pick up three mineral wagons (two with limestone load) and a Shell fuel tanker for the collection:

Marvellous Mallard
On a recent visit to the National Railway Museum, I saw Mallard, the fastest steam engine on the planet. It would be nice to have a little one for my collection, I thought. Today I won an excellent example on eBay…
A Terrier Named Fulham
A recent post mentioned how I was taken with the rather nice little Terrier locos I saw at an exhibition. Well today I finally sourced one for my collection, in OO scale. It’s in the livery of the London, Brighton & South Coast Railway. The 0-6-8 side tank is No. 44 Fulham.
